New York City Street Artist
Adam
Brzostoski paints
a variety of subjects - from portraits
to still-lives to pure abstractions-
with a unique and masterful sense
of color, gesture and composition.
Coming from a family of artists,
he has been working as a professional
artist for many years." There
is a continual need in me to explore
my talent to the limits," says
Adam. “Inspiration comes from things
large and small, from feelings deep
inside, from traveling the world
and the variety of media that I
use." Another source of strong
influence for him is music: he never
paints without songs playing. "The
links between music and painting
are clear,” he explains. "Both
need movement, rhythm and emotion
to really be of any worth".
A professional blues harmonica player
and song writer, Adam has performed
environmental and social benefits
with Pete Seeger, Joe Walsh, Rick
Derringer, and Rick Danko.
